Fortune Mill lands on iOS with $1M escape goal

Fortune Mill is now on iOS. Players work through five mini-game rooms to earn $1 million; the app offers a 30-minute free trial before purchase.

Fortune Mill is an incremental collectathon now available on the iOS App Store. The developer previously released the game on PC, where it received a very positive player reception.

Players move through five distinct challenge rooms, including a dart thrower, a scratchcard simulator and a pachinko-style machine. The goal in each run is to accrue $1,000,000 in income and exit the mill by unlocking upgrades.

Progress depends on purchasing upgrades and recruiting allies that speed up income or automate tasks. The developer cites more than 220 possible upgrades across runs. Examples given include a rattling gunner that increases dartboard hits and a so-called “creative” accounting toad that raises earnings in the scratchcard stage.

Many upgrades create synergies between rooms, so choices made early in a run can affect performance later. Players can also collect multipliers and oddball helpers that change how each mini-game pays out, allowing different strategies across repeated runs.

On iOS the first 30 minutes of gameplay are free; after that period players must buy the full game to continue. The developer estimates the paid version contains roughly 10 to 20 hours of play and is sold without in-game advertising.

Fortune Mill uses retro pixel art and a pronounced, crunchy sound design to support its arcade-style mini-games and incremental feedback. The game’s loop encourages replay by letting players test different upgrade paths and synergies.

Fortune Mill is available to download now on the iOS App Store, with the trial and purchase options active at launch.
