Forza Horizon 6 Series 3 adds Italian exotics, resets Rivals

Playground Games’ Series 3 update for Forza Horizon 6 adds an Italian Exotics Festival and car pack, refines AI and audio, and resets all Rivals leaderboards after exploit fixes.
Playground Games has released the Series 3 update for Forza Horizon 6, introducing an Italian Exotics Festival, a separate Italian Passion Car Pack, gameplay refinements and a full reset of all Rivals leaderboards after the studio found exploits that produced impossible lap times.
The Italian Exotics Festival begins July 16 and includes a new Festival Playlist with three unlockable reward cars: the 2024 Lamborghini Temerario, the 2022 Lamborghini Huracán EVO Spyder and the 1984 De Tomaso Pantera GT5. The Italian Passion Car Pack arrived July 14 for Premium Edition owners and is available separately on PC via Steam, adding four additional Italian exotics. The update also adds an Italian Aftermarket Takeover event at Horizon Stadium, new EventLab props and additional Car Pass entries. Playground Games published a Community Calendar listing weekly races, roleplay sessions, hot lap challenges and multiplayer events through July 18.
All Rivals leaderboards were reset after the developer identified several exploits that allowed impossible lap times and instances where outdated drag tire physics dominated leaderboards. Fixes for those loopholes were applied before the reset. Illegitimate records were removed, while players retain any Collection Journal rewards earned through Rivals participation.
Series 3 includes gameplay and quality-of-life updates. AI behavior has been adjusted to reduce collisions at corner entries. Audio options now separate Speech Volume and GPS Volume. Select cars received new exhaust audio, including the 2016 Alfa Romeo Giulia and the 2022 Ferrari 296 GTB. Visual updates affect exhaust effects, paint finishes, custom liveries and character clothing. EventLab’s rewind option is available again for Free Drive, and the patch resolves a range of vehicle- and challenge-specific bugs, along with fixes for PR Stunt, Hide & Seek, Convoy and Monthly Rivals events.
The studio is investigating a separate save data issue affecting some players. Recent updates for Xbox Series X|S and PC add an on-screen notification when a save conflict may risk data loss, prompting users to recover their latest cloud save. Series 3 is available now on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC (including Steam).
