Free Fire x Esports World Cup 2026 peaked at 803,647 concurrent viewers during Round 7 as LYON won; Hindi, Vietnamese and Indonesian streams each topped 200,000.
The Free Fire x Esports World Cup 2026 reached a peak concurrent audience of 803,647 during Round 7 of the finals when LYON secured the title. Organizers reported the figure as the highest peak for the game since the Free Fire World Series 2022 Sentosa.
Peak concurrent viewership rose 44% compared with the Esports World Cup 2025 edition. Hindi, Vietnamese and Indonesian language streams each recorded peak audiences above 200,000 viewers. Organizers also reported year-on-year increases in watch time and peak concurrent viewers on major streaming platforms.
The number of unique channels broadcasting Free Fire at the Esports World Cup increased to 375, up from 149 the previous year. Growth in India’s streaming community followed the game’s re-entry through Free Fire MAX; high-profile Hindi-language streamers such as Raj ‘Snax Gaming’ Varma and Shivam ‘Nonstop Gaming’ Rathi were among the channels contributing to the rise.
Tournament organizers expanded international slots from 18 to 24 teams for the 2026 event. Total watch time for Free Fire at the Esports World Cup exceeded 10 million hours watched.
Mexico’s LYON won the Free Fire competition with 155 points, earning a $300,000 prize and direct qualification for the Free Fire World Series – Global Finals 2026. During the group stage LYON recorded 33 eliminations and a Booyah in a single match, surpassing the previous event record of 28 eliminations. The club also received 1,000 Club Championship points for the event.
On the list of Free Fire’s most-watched competitions, the Esports World Cup 2026 event ranked sixth by peak viewership.
