G2 Esports and PUBG Mobile have launched an amateur-to-pro competition pathway for players in Western Europe. Registration for the 2026 Club Open Wildcard is open, and the PUBG Mobile Global Open Western Europe Finals are scheduled for Sept. 11–13.

G2’s production arm, 62, will run tournament operations and community activations in the region. Organizers describe the Club Open Wildcard as an entry route for amateur teams to earn places in higher-level events.

The Global Open Western Europe Finals will be the first major regional event held under the agreement and will bring top Western European teams together over three days in September. Registration for both the Wildcard and the Finals is available now, and organizers have published event formats and entry details.

German content creator JanickaGaming has been named ambassador for Western Europe and will stream PUBG Mobile weekly, plus provide event coverage and related content.

G2, best known for its League of Legends and Counter-Strike teams, is expanding its operations into mobile esports in Western Europe through this agreement. PUBG Mobile maintains competitive scenes in multiple regions worldwide; the Club Open Wildcard is intended to create a clearer progression for amateur teams aiming for the professional circuit ahead of the September finals.
