GameStop Adds 20% Trade-In Bonus for GTA 6 Preorders

GameStop announced a 20% bonus on eligible game and hardware trade-ins when customers apply credit to Grand Theft Auto 6 preorders. The promotion became available as preorders opened and applies both in participating stores and online through the retailer’s trade program.

The bonus is calculated from the base trade value assessed by GameStop and is added to the assessed amount. Customers may use the combined value immediately toward their preorder balance as store credit or to complete the purchase according to GameStop’s trade-in policy.

Customers can begin a trade online by entering device and condition details to receive an estimated value, or they can bring items to a participating store for an in-person assessment. Items must meet eligibility and condition requirements to receive trade value, and some products may be excluded from the promotion.

GameStop cautioned that standard trade-in rules, regional availability and other terms apply. The company recommends that customers review the full terms posted on GameStop’s website or ask staff at local stores before completing a trade.
