Garena announces Palworld Online mobile MMORPG for 2026
Garena announced Palworld Online, an officially licensed mobile MMORPG set in the Palworld universe, scheduled to launch in 2026 with shared-world, survival and creature-collection systems.
Garena announced Palworld Online, an officially licensed mobile MMORPG based on Pocketpair’s Palworld IP. The company confirmed the title is slated to launch in 2026 and will be developed and published under a license from Pocketpair.
Garena described Palworld Online as a separate experience from other Palworld projects. The game will offer a large shared open world where players can explore alongside their Pals, gather creatures, and take part in survival and crafting systems layered with MMO-style progression and multiplayer features.
The mobile version will include a new narrative setting with original story content and additional side stories created for this release. Players can create shared settlements that can expand into larger community hubs, with Pals assisting in production, defence and everyday tasks.
Garena said the team is adapting controls and systems for mobile, with touch-friendly interfaces and streamlined tools for building, base management and deploying Pals, while aiming to retain the gameplay depth of the source material. No gameplay footage or hands-on demonstrations have been released to date.
Palworld Online is separate from another mobile Palworld project being developed by Tencent Games and KRAFTON’s PUBG Studios. Both companies have acquired licenses to bring Palworld to mobile, meaning multiple large-scale mobile entries in the franchise are in development.
Garena confirmed the 2026 launch window but did not provide platform specifics beyond mobile or a release calendar. The company indicated further details on timing, regional availability and gameplay previews will be provided in the coming months.
