Gorotsuki Paradise launches with in-match deckbuilding
Kojika Games released Gorotsuki Paradise on Android, iOS and PC. The free-to-play title offers one-on-one online PvP with cross-play and in-match deckbuilding using 150+ cards.
Kojika Games has launched Gorotsuki Paradise for Android, iOS and PC. The free-to-play game supports cross-play and matches players in one-on-one online PvP duels. It is available on the Google Play Store, the App Store and PC distribution platforms.
Matches do not use prebuilt decks. Players recruit cards during the early rounds and add earned cards to their deck for the rest of the duel. The studio reports more than 150 unique Gorotsuki cards are available at launch.
Each round places reward cards across five lanes. Players decide which lanes to contest, which to concede and when to swap cards. Cards acquired in opening rounds are added to a player’s deck and can change available options later in the match.
Some cards interact and can evolve into stronger combinations when paired. Those interactions can change the balance of a match based on earlier recruitment and lane control.
The game offers ranked and casual match types. The studio states that microtransactions are present but are not designed to guarantee competitive advantage. Cross-play places Android, iOS and PC players in a single competitive pool.
The title draws on Japanese criminal archetypes: “gorotsuki” refers to thugs, gangsters and outlaws. The game is set in a fictional crime city called Saitama, where players progress through ranked tiers.
Kojika Games announced plans to add more cards and content in future updates to expand the pool of collectible units and potential card synergies. Early coverage highlighted the game’s in-match deckbuilding and lane-based reward contests. Some observers raised concerns that portions of the card artwork appear to be generated by artificial intelligence.
