GOT: Winter Is Coming enters Android early access in Asia

Yoozoo (Singapore) has launched Android early access for the officially licensed HBO game GOT: Winter Is Coming in select Asian markets, including Japan, Thailand and South Korea. The game is available to download from the Google Play Store in those regions.

The title adapts 4X strategy mechanics for mobile. Players build and expand a castle, manage resources, upgrade buildings, research technologies and train troops to strengthen their territory.

Players can recruit commanders with distinct skills to lead armies. The game uses real-time player-vs-player combat and cooperative play, requiring timing and coordination in attacks and defenses.

Users may pledge allegiance to established houses such as Stark, Lannister, Baratheon and Targaryen, or form player-led houses to team up with others. Objectives include contesting control points, capturing strategic areas and mounting campaigns to take King’s Landing and the Iron Throne.

GOT: Winter Is Coming presents 3D recreations of locations across Westeros and includes changing weather and day-night cycles that affect the visual presentation.

The mobile early access follows the game’s original browser release in 2019. Yoozoo has not provided a date for an iOS release.
