Gran Turismo 7 Update 1.71 Adds Four Cars, Three World Circuits

Gran Turismo 7 update 1.71 on PS5 adds four cars — including the 1997 Toyota Chaser Tourer V and 2025 Hyundai IONIQ 6 N — plus three World Circuits and Whistler in Scapes.

Developer Polyphony Digital released Gran Turismo 7 Update 1.71 for PS5, making four new cars available and adding three World Circuits along with Whistler as a new Scapes curation location. The update is live now in the game.

The vehicle additions are the 1997 Toyota Chaser Tourer V, 1997 Toyota Mark II Tourer V, 2008 Caterham Seven Superlight R500 and the 2025 Hyundai IONIQ 6 N. The Chaser is listed as a Street Icon with links to Japanese tuning and drifting culture. The Mark II is the monthly Sleeper Pick and offers a subdued appearance with tuning potential. The Caterham Seven Superlight R500 is identified as a Pure Driver, built for light weight and handling. The IONIQ 6 N is categorized as a Next Gen Performance vehicle, representing Hyundai’s electric performance model.

Players can purchase the Chaser and Mark II from Used Cars in the game. The Caterham and IONIQ 6 N are available from Brand Central. In-game services remain unchanged: GT Auto and the Tuning Shop allow part changes and setup adjustments, and Time Trial mode can be used to test braking points, cornering speeds and racing lines.

The update recommends Tokyo Expressway as a test location for the Chaser and Mark II and suggests Deep Forest Raceway for the nimble Superlight R500. The three new World Circuits expand the track roster for driving and racing. Whistler has been added to Scapes as a featured curation location for photography and replay captures.

Update 1.71 increases the range of cars and track options in Gran Turismo 7, offering a mix of classic Japanese performance, lightweight handling and an electric performance model alongside new environments for driving and photography.
