GTA 6 soundtrack: confirmed songs, rumoured artists, V-Rock return

Six tracks from GTA 6 trailers are identified and one station, V‑Rock, appears set to return ahead of the game’s Nov. 19, 2026 release.

Six tracks used in GTA 6 trailers have been identified: Tom Petty’s “Love Is a Long Road,” The Pointer Sisters’ “Hot Together,” Wang Chung’s “Everybody Have Fun Tonight,” Tammy Wynette’s “Talkin’ to Myself Again,” Zenglen’s “Child Support,” and Jay Ferguson’s “Thunder Island.”

Historically, songs that appear in Grand Theft Auto trailers have been included on the game’s radio stations. Those placements have been used as early indicators of tracks that will appear inside the game and on its station lineup.

Several artists have been linked to the GTA 6 soundtrack without official confirmation. T‑Pain has suggested involvement and wrote that Rockstar asked him to avoid GTA roleplay servers during development. Other names connected by reports and leaks include Ski Mask the Slump God, Panama, Neon Indian, ScHoolboy Q and Skrilla. Rockstar has not published a full list of contributors or a final station lineup.

One radio station appears set to return. Promotional images show a character wearing a V‑Rock shirt, which has been treated as confirmation that the station will reappear in GTA 6. Station formats connected to the project include hip-hop, country, pop, Latin, EDM, kompa and comedic talk radio.

GTA 5 launched with more than 240 songs across 17 stations, with additional music added through GTA Online. GTA 6 is being developed with a soundtrack intended to reflect Miami and South Florida’s music scene and expand the game’s audio options.

Streams for Tom Petty’s “Love Is a Long Road” rose after it appeared in the first trailer, demonstrating how trailer exposure can affect listening numbers for catalog tracks.

Rockstar has not released a confirmed station list or full soundtrack. Additional music and station announcements are expected in the months leading up to the game’s Nov. 19, 2026 release.
