GTA VI extended gameplay to premiere on Netflix

Rockstar will premiere an extended Grand Theft Auto VI gameplay showcase on Thursday, Aug. 27 at 3 p.m. ET on Netflix. The same extended video will be posted to Rockstar’s YouTube channel and the official Grand Theft Auto VI website at 9 p.m. ET, six hours after the Netflix debut.

The company described the presentation as an extended gameplay reveal rather than a short teaser. The showcase will present in-game footage, including early-mission sequences that feature the title’s two playable protagonists, along with driving, combat and other core gameplay elements.

Pre-orders for Grand Theft Auto VI are open on Rockstar’s website. Rockstar has set the game’s release date for Nov. 19 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

Viewers with a Netflix subscription can watch the premiere at 3 p.m. ET on Aug. 27. The upload to Rockstar’s YouTube channel and official site at 9 p.m. ET will provide the same extended look to audiences who do not have a Netflix account.
