Hell Let Loose: Vietnam Targets 60 FPS, PS5 Pro PSSR
Expression Games confirmed Hell Let Loose: Vietnam will target 60 FPS on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. PS5 Pro will receive PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution in a free post-launch update.
Expression Games confirmed Hell Let Loose: Vietnam will target 60 frames per second on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, with the PC version expected to offer similar performance where hardware permits. The game is scheduled to launch on August 13, 2026 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
Technical details released by the developer indicate PlayStation 5 Pro owners will receive PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR) as a free update delivered months after launch; PSSR will not be available at initial release. The base PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions are planned to hit the 60 FPS target at launch.
The company did not disclose exact internal render resolutions for consoles and described the use of modern rendering tools and upscaling to improve visual fidelity and maintain consistent frame pacing compared with earlier titles in the series.
On PC, the developer will offer hardware-specific options. Nvidia users can enable DLSS 4.5 with Frame Generation to smooth motion and increase frame rates. AMD graphics card owners can use Temporal Super Resolution (TSR) for image upscaling and improved anti-aliasing. High-end PCs can enable Hardware Lumen to enhance lighting, shadows and ray-traced effects.
Hell Let Loose: Vietnam shifts the series from World War II to the Vietnam War. At launch the game will include six large maps inspired by historical sites and support large-scale infantry and vehicle combat between the North Vietnamese Army and the United States Armed Forces.
Expression Games noted platform-specific options will allow players to prioritize performance or image quality depending on their hardware, and that the technical focus includes consistent frame pacing, modern upscaling and ray-tracing techniques where supported.
