Hello Kitty Island Adventure adds Tea Garden DLC Aug. 6 - news.goranked

Hello Kitty Island Adventure will release a paid Tea Garden DLC on August 6, adding more than 15 narrative quests, 300+ clothing variants, two tea food stations and 38 recipes.

Sunblink and Sanrio announced Hello Kitty Island Adventure will release a paid Tea Garden DLC on August 6. The expansion adds more than 15 narrative quests, over 300 clothing variants, two tea-themed food stations and 38 new recipes.

New quests include themes of romance and mischief and expand interactions with Sanrio characters such as Hello Kitty, My Melody, Pochacco, Kuromi and Chococat. Costumes follow a regency and tea-party style, featuring bows, bonnets and period-inspired garments drawn from the 300-plus clothing options.

Gameplay elements focus on tea preparation and presentation. Players can use two new food stations, the Teapot and the Tiered Tray, to craft tea and scones from the 38 recipes. The update adds cabin decoration items including hedge mazes and gazebos to expand island customization.

Sunblink described the content as focused on social play and cosmetic variety, with quests tied to story outcomes and crafting milestones to drive progression.

The DLC will cost $9.99 on consoles and will be included for Apple Arcade subscribers. The expansion will be available on supported consoles and through Apple Arcade beginning August 6.

The release coincides with the ongoing Friendship Festival; 1950s-inspired cosmetics from that event remain available until August 17.

Hello Kitty Island Adventure has received multiple updates since launch that added cosmetics and activities; the Tea Garden continues that pattern of content updates.

As reported previously, some cut GTA V content could return in limited form in GTA VI.
