Honkai: Star Rail 4.6 launches Sept. 28 with 5‑star Pearl

HoYoverse will release Honkai: Star Rail Version 4.6, titled “Dance With the Beast Before Moonrise,” on Sept. 28, 2026. The 42-day update introduces a new 5‑star Ice-element Elation support, new outfits, timed events and livestream redemption codes.

Pearl is an Ice-element, Elation-path support who uses DEF-based effects for healing and team mitigation. Her talent and skill heal the entire team based on her DEF. Pearl’s Ultimate applies a Deep Learning state to a selected ally, converting that ally into the Aesthetic Archetype. While an ally is in the Aesthetic Archetype, that unit’s team action advances by 10 percent with one Elation teammate, 15 percent with two, and 30 percent with three or more Elation characters on the team. During Deep Learning, Pearl’s basic attack changes into Brushstroke: Render the Great Wave, which restores HP to allies based on her DEF.

Version 4.6 will run for 42 days and is split into two 21-day banner phases. Phase one will rerun 5‑star Evanescia; phase two will rerun Mortenax Blade.

New outfits arrive with the update. Evanescia’s outfit will be available for purchase with Stellar Jade in the in-game shop. Hyacine’s outfit will be offered through a paid in-game currency purchase.

The update includes several timed events. Gift of Odyssey rewards players who log in for seven days with 10 Special Star Rail Passes. Down with Voracity tasks players with defeating enemies affected by Voracity to earn Stellar Jades, Trendible Vouchers and other materials. Love, Ghost, and Robots is an assessment-style challenge with Stellar Jade and material rewards. Interstellar Peace Gala: One Take is a combat event with its own reward pool.

HoYoverse has issued livestream redemption codes that expire within 24 hours of release and must be redeemed quickly. The codes released for the live window include KA5SV3FJM7WX, which redeems for 100 Stellar Jade and 50,000 credits; 7S4AD2X35NE3, which redeems for 100 Stellar Jade and five Traveler’s Guides; and MALSV2F247FP, which redeems for 100 Stellar Jade and four Refined Aether.

The update adds new locations and activities alongside the character and cosmetic releases. Version 4.6 expands options for Elation-focused team builds by providing a support whose effectiveness scales with DEF and that directly advances an ally’s turn progression based on the number of Elation characters present. Currencies mentioned in the update include Stellar Jade, Special Star Rail Passes, credits, Traveler’s Guides, Refined Aether and Trendible Vouchers.

Honkai: Star Rail is developed and published by HoYoverse and is available across multiple platforms. The publisher’s published schedule, banner phases, event timing and code expirations define the participation window for rewards during the 42-day update period.
