Horde Defenders codes: How to redeem base-sharing keys

Horde Defenders does not offer traditional redeem codes for premium currency, gamepasses or other paid items. The only code system in the game exports and shares base layouts: players can generate keys that another player can import to duplicate a defensive setup.

Horde Defenders is a retro-inspired roguelike survival simulator on Roblox. Each run ends in either a temporary victory or a defeat. Players collect scrap from defeated enemies and spend it to craft machines and upgrade defenses. The game includes more than 18 tower types and a loop of starting battles, holding off monsters, collecting scrap and returning to build stronger defenses.

The current in-game code interface accepts base-sharing keys only. A code-redeem option exists in the user interface, but developers have not released codes that grant in-game currency, items or gamepasses. The base keys are intended to export a player’s base layout so another player can load the same configuration.

To redeem a code, launch Horde Defenders on Roblox, complete the brief tutorial, open the ‘codes’ button in the top-right corner of the screen, enter a valid key and press ‘redeem’. The tutorial requirement prevents access to the code screen until a player finishes the initial walkthrough.

There is no official Discord server listed on the game’s Roblox page, which reduces one common channel for distributing codes. The game is in early development; developers may add new code types or distribution methods in future updates. Until then, the most direct ways to check for new codes are the game’s Roblox page and developer announcements linked on that page.

The shareable base keys function is limited to layout transfer and does not provide gameplay advantages in the form of paid content. Players who want to reuse or test defensive setups can load keys created by friends or community members through the in-game interface.
