How to earn three stars in ARC Raiders Season 5 Week 4
Season 5 Week 4 trials in ARC Raiders are live with five weekly challenges awarding up to three stars and leaderboard points, including searching Raider caches and damaging ARCs with blaze grenades.
Season 5 Week 4 trials in ARC Raiders are live. The rotation includes five weekly challenges that award up to three stars and points for leaderboard placement. Trials unlock at player level 15 and refresh every week.
Players earn stars by completing stages of each challenge; each challenge can grant up to three stars and separate rewards for each star earned. Points from challenges place players on a 100-player leaderboard within their rank. The top 20 players on each leaderboard receive a double promotion when ranks refresh, the next 30 receive a single promotion, and the bottom 20 are demoted one rank.
One challenge requires searching Raider caches. Players can search standard raider caches or the new First Wave caches introduced in Hurricane mode. Hurricane conditions increase First Wave cache spawns, making Dam Battlegrounds and Buried City productive maps for this task. First Wave caches also drop higher-tier loot and blueprints.
A second challenge asks players to damage ARCs using blaze grenades. Targeting larger ARC variants such as Leaper, Bombardier, Bastion, Queen and Matriarch will accumulate damage quickly. Positioning and timing grenades against these higher-health targets speeds progress on the objective.
A new trial requires receiving damage from Pops. Extraction stations in Buried City contain frequent Pop enemies. Moving into range or sliding toward a Pop until it detonates near the player counts toward the objective. Using areas with multiple Pops lets players complete that task faster.
Another challenge asks players to damage Wasps using light-ammo weapons. Weapons that qualify include the Bobcat, Stitcher and Hairpin. The Bobcat combines a higher fire rate and damage among light-ammo choices, which helps down Wasps more efficiently.
The final challenge is specific to the Blue Gate map. Once gates open in Locked Gate mode, players must open containers inside the traffic tunnels. Eligible containers include box containers, security breaches, electrical boxes and car trunks inside the tunnel network.
Completing all three stars across the five challenges and accumulating enough points can place a player in the top 20 on their leaderboard, which triggers a two-rank promotion when ranks update. Trials refresh weekly, and the rotation of objectives requires players to return to maps and repeat tasks to maintain or improve leaderboard position.
