HoYoverse Nodusfall reportedly in China beta
Leaked images purport to show Unreal Engine 5 visuals, monster-hunting gameplay, open-world maps, mounts, party systems and PvP while HoYoverse has not confirmed a public beta.
HoYoverse’s Nodusfall has reportedly entered beta testing in China, according to leaked in-game images that appear to come from a PC build. The material includes gameplay footage, user interface screens and large-scale environment maps rendered in Unreal Engine 5.
The images show a wide map divided into distinct regions and terrain types, indicating a world-oriented design rather than a small arena. On-screen markers identify targets and combat indicators consistent with monster-hunting gameplay. The character interface displays weapons, abilities and progression bars.
Screenshots show mounts that resemble horses or wild goats and a teleportation option that appears to allow fast travel between discovered points. Several UI elements list multiple character slots or party members, suggesting either AI companions or multiplayer groups. Visible team chat and party panels point to cooperative play, and one menu lists a Team Deathmatch mode, indicating a competitive option.
The leaked build uses Unreal Engine 5 and departs from HoYoverse’s more familiar anime-influenced visuals toward a different art direction. The exact scope of the beta, participant numbers, platform availability and duration were not visible in the leaked material. HoYoverse has not issued an official statement or announced a global beta schedule.
HoYoverse registered a trademark for Nodusfall earlier this year. The leaked assets are likely from an in-development build, so features and modes shown may change before any formal release.
