HoYoverse confirms Zenless Zone Zero x Star Rail crossover

HoYoverse confirmed a collaboration between Zenless Zone Zero and Honkai: Star Rail scheduled for Winter 2026. The announcement appeared on the official social accounts for both games.

The Zenless Zone Zero account posted that a mysterious ‘Pom-Pomboo’ had ‘appeared on Sixth Street and was impossible to remove.’ The Honkai: Star Rail account posted a welcome to Trailblazers in New Eridu. HoYoverse has not released gameplay details or a firm timetable beyond the Winter 2026 window.

Leaked material circulating among data miners and community sources lists specific characters for the crossover. Robin, a Harmony character from Honkai: Star Rail, is named as a potential playable Agent in Zenless Zone Zero. Astra Yao and Ellen, Agents from Zenless Zone Zero, are reported as possible additions to Honkai: Star Rail.

HoYoverse has not confirmed these character additions and has not published official patch notes or a roster for the event.

Some leaks indicate that Honkai: Star Rail Version 4.8 could be a special collaboration patch centered on Zenless Zone Zero content instead of the usual Trailblaze storyline. HoYoverse has not confirmed the version number or provided a release date.

Previous crossovers from the developer included dedicated story segments, limited-time event missions, collaboration-exclusive banners, free login rewards, themed avatars and skins, and new dialogue interactions between characters from both titles.

HoYoverse’s social channels and scheduled livestreams are expected to provide further announcements, character reveals and details about event mechanics in the run-up to Winter 2026.
