Kemco and developer EXE Create will release Isekai Rondo Otogi on iOS and Android later this month. Pre-registration for the mobile release is open.

The game follows Shaw, a recurring protagonist in the Isekai Rondo series. In earlier entries Shaw was summoned from modern Japan; in Otogi he arrives from the fictional world Facultas and finds himself in Nakatsunokuni, a region inspired by Japanese folktales and mythology.

Kemco is publishing the title and EXE Create handled development. The release targets iOS and Android devices.

Gameplay uses turn-based combat and party progression. The game presents pseudo 2.5D visuals and includes systems such as leveling, equipment and skill acquisition. Shaw loses his previous abilities upon entering Nakatsunokuni and gains new skills and equipment as he advances.

Characters and encounters draw on figures and stories from Japanese mythology and folktales, which inform the narrative and the composition of the playable cast and non-playable characters.

Pre-registration is active and the full launch is scheduled for later this month on both mobile platforms.

Kemco and EXE Create have released multiple JRPGs for mobile platforms; Isekai Rondo Otogi follows their ongoing production of turn-based role-playing titles for handheld devices.
