King Pro League Grand Finals 2026 to Award Over $10 Million

Twelve Chinese teams will compete across four stages in October–November for more than $10 million, concluding with a best-of-seven final on Nov. 14 in Chengdu.

The King Pro League Grand Finals 2026 will run from early October through Nov. 14 and will determine China’s representatives for the Honor of Kings International Championship. The month-long domestic tournament replaces the Honor of Kings International Championship on the Chinese circuit and concludes with a best-of-seven final at Chengdu Phoenix Hill Gymnasium on Nov. 14.

The competition opens with a Challenge Stage in the first week of October. In mid-October teams will be split into Master and Elite groups based on annual circuit points. Teams in each group will play cross-group single round-robin matches, then advance to best-of-five series. Each squad is required to rotate and field all seven registered players during the stage.

The Master group will advance its top four teams to the knockout phase, while the Elite group will send its group winner. Several teams will be placed into a Play-In stage and the remaining squads will be eliminated from contention.

The Play-In runs Oct. 20–22 and will feature six teams in single-elimination matchups. Teams from the Master group will select their opponents from the Elite group for Play-In pairings. Side selection for the first game will follow seeding; subsequent game-side choice will go to the previous game’s loser. Three Play-In winners will move on to the Knockout Stage.

The Knockout Stage, scheduled from Oct. 27 to Nov. 8, is an eight-team double-elimination bracket with all teams starting in the upper-bracket quarterfinals. Matches in the Knockout Stage and the Grand Final are best-of-seven, using a Global Ban/Pick system and the Ultimate Battle format. The Grand Final will be a single best-of-seven on Nov. 14 at Chengdu Phoenix Hill Gymnasium.

Twelve teams entered the event: Wolves, JD Gaming, AG Super Play, Talent Gaming, Kuaishou Gaming, Weibo Gaming, TOP Esports Armor, EDward Gaming, LGD NBW, Douyu Gaming, Rogue Warriors and Hero JiuJing.

The prize pool exceeds $10 million. Team payouts, listed in Chinese yuan, are: champion ¥20,000,000; runner-up ¥10,000,000; third ¥8,000,000; fourth ¥6,000,000; fifth–sixth ¥4,500,000; seventh–eighth ¥3,500,000; ninth–eleventh ¥2,700,000; and twelfth ¥1,900,000. Organizers have not released a separate allocation for individual awards.

Organizers plan concerts, fan gatherings and regional events across multiple Chinese cities during the tournament month. Matches will be streamed on official Honor of Kings channels, and international viewers may follow community watch events.
