Masangsoft will relaunch King’s Raid as King’s Raid RE:VERSE on mobile and PC, restoring the game’s world and characters after the original shut down in March 2025. The company acquired the King’s Raid intellectual property from Anic Inc. in March 2025.

The project preserves the original game’s core gameplay and story while applying technical and design updates. Masangsoft held a closed beta in January 2026 and a second beta in April 2026 to refine gameplay systems using player feedback.

Planned updates include upgraded visuals, reworked balance for heroes and encounters, expanded in-game systems, cooperative raid content, and quality-of-life improvements intended to streamline progression and player interaction. Masangsoft described the RE:VERSE subtitle as an effort to reconnect players with the game’s story and characters.

Cross-platform support will let players use shared accounts and progress on both mobile devices and PC. The developer indicated changes to combat clarity and the user interface aimed at improving accessibility while keeping the original narrative and character roster intact.

King’s Raid RE:VERSE will be on display at the Tokyo Game Show 2026 from September 17 to 21. Attendees will be able to try the game at a dedicated booth featuring themed elements, character photo spots and other attractions. The public appearance follows the beta tests and is part of Masangsoft’s rollout plans.

The original King’s Raid ceased service in March 2025. The IP transfer and the early 2026 tests precede a broader launch window that Masangsoft has not yet announced.
