Kortz Center skylight route enables solo Elite Challenge

The Kortz Center skylight entrance allows a single player to run the Heist and meet the Elite Challenge on Normal when buyer’s request items spawn in accessible locations and optional preps such as Guard Shipments are completed. Entering through the skylight disables the exhibition room’s horizontally moving security camera that complicates other routes.

The Elite Challenge requires four conditions in one run: finish in under 17 minutes, lose less than GTA$15,000 in loot value, maintain over 90% shooting accuracy, and collect every item on the buyer’s request list. Shooting accuracy is the most difficult requirement, which is why weakening guards through Guard Shipments and securing one-shot kills matter for a solo run.

The buyer’s request list is assigned randomly during scope out. If any requested item appears inside the Crisp Gallery on the exhibition room’s upper floor, a solo player cannot retrieve it because that gallery requires two players to hold a shutter door open. If all requested items spawn on the ground floor, the upper floor outside the Crisp Gallery, or in the vault, the skylight route is feasible for solo completion.

Recommended setup for the skylight route includes Tactical Equipment as the infiltration gear, the Street weapon loadout if the Mansion Armory extension is available, and the Manchez as the getaway vehicle. The Street loadout supplies a Pump Shotgun Mk II capable of downing fully armoured guards with a torso shot, which helps preserve accuracy. The Security loadout provides a Marksman Rifle Mk II and a stun gun; stun weapons can be less reliable because guards respawn after the vault is looted and helmets can prevent one-shot kills unless Guard Shipments are completed.

Prioritize the Guard Shipments and Guard Routes optional preps. Guard Shipments weakens guards and protects accuracy, while Guard Routes reveals guard positions and fields of view. The Glass Cutter is situational and only needed if a requested item is locked in a vertical glass display case. Power Drills and EMP Charges are not required for the skylight route.

On approach, park the Manchez on the grassy patch near the building to avoid alerting guards, move up the stairs in stealth when cameras look away, and trigger the skylight entry cutscene. Dropping into the exhibition room immediately puts the player into stealth and removes the horizontal camera. Look for the exhibition room exit key, which can drop from any guard, and prioritize collecting buyer’s request items while avoiding stray shots that would lower accuracy or trigger alarms. Disable the glass cabinet alarm on the ground floor if present.

The laser room layout varies and is the most hazardous section. Wait for clear openings to the wall switches, watch vertical laser columns and moving horizontal beams, and time movements to avoid crossing beams when they are active. Players should not jump the bottom horizontal beam; instead wait for the central vertical pattern to clear and then pass through the fading horizontal beam to reach the switch.

The vault door requires a memory-pattern hack. Memorize early nodes and use the AI Scramble option to replay the initial sequence before finishing the pattern; each scramble consumes one access attempt. After opening the vault, loot the primary target and monitor the vault thermal sensor, leaving before it fills to avoid an alarm.

After looting, return to the security room to wipe CCTV footage, ride the elevator back to the ground floor, and use the exhibition exit key to leave through the bottom exit. A short cutscene follows. Drop outside, avoid camera lines, check for a guard near the Manchez, and make an off-road dash to evade police, including helicopters. The Manchez offers the speed and handling required for a rapid escape.

The skylight route removes the horizontal exhibition camera and provides a solo path to attempt the Elite Challenge on Normal, subject to the buyer’s request item placement, completion of guard-related preps, clean one-shot kills, and careful timing in the laser room and vault.
