Kotobukiya’s Arcanadea RPG Gleam Gatherers coming to mobile

Kotobukiya said Arcanadea – Gleam Gatherers will launch on Android and iOS in Japan in 2026; pre-registration is open.

Kotobukiya announced Arcanadea – Gleam Gatherers, a mobile role-playing game based on its Arcanadea plastic model series, will arrive on Android and iOS in Japan in 2026. The title is part of the ARCANADEA Game Project and pre-registration is available on the game’s official website.

Players will control characters called Dears, use their distinct abilities against enemies named Xenoalma, progress through stages, and collect equipment and outfits to adjust each character’s appearance and stats. The game will include characters from the existing model kits and new characters created specifically for the app.

The narrative begins after an event called the Night of Destruction, when an area called the Arcana Space appears. A boy becomes trapped in the Arcana Space and encounters a dying Dear named Lephirka. With the boy gravely wounded and Lephrika deprived of power, they begin a journey together to recover what they have lost.

Kotobukiya highlighted outfit customization and equipment collection as central elements of the game’s systems. The original Arcanadea plastic model series launched in December 2021; character designs for the line were led by artist necömi and combined science-fiction and fantasy elements. The mobile game will expand those visual choices and include original character art for the app.

Pre-registration offers milestone rewards based on the number of sign-ups. Kotobukiya has not given a more specific release window beyond 2026, has not announced plans for regions outside Japan, and has not disclosed pricing or monetization details.
