KRAFTON to award INR 1 Lakh to Indian indies at Mobile Premiere

KRAFTON India will sponsor The Mobile Premiere 2026 Indie Segment and grant INR 1 Lakh to each Indian indie title selected for the KIGI Indie Excellence Honors.

KRAFTON India has joined The Mobile Premiere 2026 as the official partner for the event’s Indie Segment and will award INR 1 Lakh to each Indian indie title selected for the KIGI Indie Excellence Honors. The inaugural Mobile Premiere will take place on October 28, 2026, in Bangkok and will run alongside the 6th GamingonPhone Awards.

Studios registered and based in India can submit games for consideration. Selected developers will present their titles on the event stage, receive the cash prize, and gain exposure to an international audience that will include major mobile publishers and developers.

GamingonPhone is organising The Mobile Premiere, with programming guidance from The Executive Foundry, an advisory board of industry veterans. The showcase is designed to feature mobile-first projects and creators from around the world during the one-day event in Bangkok.

KRAFTON India’s involvement is linked to the KRAFTON India Gaming Incubator. The incubator provides financial support, mentorship and access to international platforms for emerging studios. Anuj Sahani, head of the Gaming Incubator and Director of Publishing at KRAFTON India, is part of the advisory group shaping the event.

Registration for the KIGI Indie Excellence Honors is free through a Studio Interest Form provided by the organisers. Details about the selected studios and the games to be showcased will be announced ahead of the October event.

Tousif Hasan Biswas, Founder and CEO of GamingonPhone, commented that KRAFTON India’s backing would increase visibility for homegrown studios and give their projects a larger stage to reach global audiences.

The Mobile Premiere will offer networking opportunities for developers and industry professionals. Industry attendees can apply for complimentary passes through the event’s registration channels.
