Krafton India to host BMIC 2026 in Mumbai; ₹1 crore prize

Krafton India will stage the Battlegrounds Mobile International Cup (BMIC) 2026 finals in Mumbai from October 30 to November 1. The three-day, finals-only event will be held at the Dome Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Indoor Stadium and organised by KRAFTON India as an all-LAN competition.

Sixteen teams will compete: six from India, five from South Korea and five from Japan. The squads will play across multiple matchdays for a total prize pool of ₹1 crore and for potential qualification slots at the PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2026.

The event will be open to the public and staged before a live audience at the SVP Indoor Stadium. KRAFTON India will livestream the entire tournament on its official YouTube channel for viewers who cannot attend in person.

Organisers have said the tournament winners will take the largest share of the ₹1 crore prize pool. Cash awards will also be given for individual honours such as Most Valuable Player and Best In-Game Leader. The full prize breakdown has not been released.

The BMIC 2026 follows the competition’s inaugural season and provides a route for regional champions to advance to the global esports calendar. The all-LAN format is intended to ensure consistent competitive conditions for all participating teams.
