Light and Night launches open beta in Southeast Asia

VNGGames has begun an open beta for Light and Night across Southeast Asia, making the game available for download on Android and iOS in supported markets. VNGGames is operating the regional service while the title remains in open beta.

The game, developed by Tencent Games in China, places players in a modern Eastern city as a rising fashion designer whose career intersects with several male leads. Player choices create branching storylines and a dual-ending system that determines which character grows closer to the protagonist. Multiple endings can be unlocked through different playthroughs.

Gameplay centers on relationship building through dates and mini-games, and the title supports text conversations, simulated phone calls and video calls. Voice-acted scenes and hidden story content are tied to individual character routes. Appearance customization, including outfits and makeup, is part of progression toward the protagonist’s design career.

VNGGames ran a closed beta in Southeast Asia last month before expanding access to a wider audience. Production credits list teams responsible for art, writing and music, with voice work and visual presentation supporting the story-led design. Players in supported SEA markets can download Light and Night from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store.
