Limbus Company Season 8: Chapter 10, new IDs and EGOs
Chapter 10 releases in three parts Sept. 17, Sept. 24 and Oct. 10. Season 8 Punctum adds new Ryoshu and Ishmael IDs, four EGOs, higher level cap and battle-pass changes.
Project Moon will release Limbus Company Chapter 10 in three parts: Part 1 on September 17, Part 2 on September 24 and Part 3 on October 10. The update arrives with Season 8 Punctum, which introduces new character IDs, four EGOs, and several gameplay and progression adjustments. The chapter continues Meursault’s arc and draws on themes from Albert Camus’s The Stranger.
Project Moon confirmed the staggered schedule and said the season’s battle pass will run alongside the chapter rollout. Max-level battle-pass rewards will remain locked until Chapter 10 Part 3 on October 10. Materials carried over from the previous season-ego crates, shards and Threads-will be halved at the start of Season 8. The season announcer is Meursault; two additional announcers, G.M. Sisyphe and Jeanne, are included among the rewards. The reward pool also contains shard crates, level-up and level-boost tickets, Threads, extract tickets, Lunacy, ID Uptie 4 Modules and multiple Enkephalin modules.
Season 8 adds new IDs for Ishmael and Ryoshu. Ishmael receives the Haute Couture Boutique du Rouge ID, which appears focused on Bleed mechanics. Ryoshu gains the Haute Couture Le Noir Footwear Hall ID, which suggests a hybrid Bleed design. The update also introduces a ZAYIN Ego for Hong Lu, a TETH Ego for Rodion, and WAW EGOs for Meursault and Faust.
Combat and progression receive changes in this patch. Project Moon has shown a new top-down camera angle and indicated some encounters will include real-time combat elements alongside the existing turn-based chain-linked system. New players can access Chapter 10 content after clearing Canto 1. The mirror dungeon #8 is still in development and is expected to arrive after Part 3 of the story patch. Season 7 IDs and EGOs will be locked until the next season; Season 6 items will be unlocked for general use.
Player progression limits will increase: Sinner level caps rise from 55 to 60. The update places emphasis on Bleed and Poise interactions through the new IDs and EGOs. Players are advised to claim active dungeon bonuses before the seasonal transition and to plan battle-pass progression with the Part 3 unlock schedule in mind.
Limbus Company is developed by Project Moon, the studio behind Lobotomy Corporation and Library of Ruina. Chapter 10 follows Chapter 9, Intervello, and continues the studio’s shared narrative involving the search for Golden Boughs and a roster of 12 Sinners.
