NC (formerly NCSOFT) will run a five-day Frontier Test for LIMIT ZERO BREAKERS from Sept. 9–13, 2026 on Android, iOS and PC. The closed test will use a data-wipe format and will be open only to recruited participants.
Recruitment is open through Sept. 5 on the game’s official website. Players who register will be notified by the email address supplied at sign-up. NC plans to publish a separate notice with pre-download instructions once recruitment closes.
LIMIT ZERO BREAKERS is developed by VIC GAME STUDIOS. The anime-style action RPG is set across the floating islands of Seraphia. Players take the role of a Breaker aboard the Weaverwhale, recruit characters to form teams, and tackle ancient dungeons, giant monsters and raid encounters. Combat emphasizes fast, cinematic action and includes a Breaker Mode for large-scale attacks against bosses.
The Frontier Test will add the game’s Chapter 3 narrative, several spin-off storylines, new raid encounters and additional playable characters for testers to evaluate.
NC will incorporate gameplay and presentation adjustments based on feedback from the June 2026 closed beta. Planned changes include refinements to combat mechanics, updates to character and environment visuals, and user experience and interface improvements while retaining the game’s cinematic combat focus.
Sign-ups for earlier testing opened in December 2025 and the first closed beta ran in June 2026. NC describes the Frontier Test as a short-term evaluation intended to stress test new content and gather targeted feedback ahead of a wider release.
