LoL Patch 26.14: Champion Buffs, Nerfs and Item Tweaks - news.goranked

Riot Games released League of Legends Patch 26.14 on July 8, 2026, buffing Azir, Corki, Mordekaiser, Nami and Yunara, nerfing Garen, Jayce, Locke, Senna and Seraphine and adjusting items and Blue Buff.

Riot Games released Patch 26.14 for League of Legends on July 8, 2026. The update focuses on targeted balance changes to a small group of champions, several items, a rune and the Blue Buff system. Riot wrote the changes aim to address post-MSI performance and a growing mage bot lane trend while avoiding broad meta shifts.

Five champions received buffs. Azir gets bug fixes. Corki’s AD growth increases from 2 to 2.5 and his R passive cooldown on autos is adjusted from 2–4 seconds to 2–6 seconds. Mordekaiser’s ultimate stat steal rises from 10% to 13% and his E damage now scales better with AP, changing from 60–120 (+40% AP) to 60–140 (+45% AP). Nami’s E damage per hit is raised to 20/35/50/65/80 at ranks 1–5. Yunara’s AD growth increases from 2.5 to 3.

Five champions are nerfed. Garen’s ultimate base true damage is reduced. Jayce loses movement speed after his form swap and has lower defensive stats while in Hammer Form. Locke has reduced Q damage, lower Q stack damage, a shorter Q recast window and a reduced W grey-health cap. Senna’s critical damage modifier is lowered and the AP scaling on her Q’s slow and healing is trimmed. Seraphine’s Q AP ratio is reduced from 50% to 40%.

Systems and items were adjusted. Blue Buff now grants Ability Haste that scales with player level: 10 Ability Haste at level 1, 15 at level 6 and 20 at level 11. Hextech Rocketbelt receives a new build path, its AP is reduced from 70 to 60, base health is raised from 300 to 350, and its active cooldown is increased from 40 seconds to 50 seconds. Immortal Path, the mid-quest upgrade for Gluttonous Greaves, has its damage bonus cut from 5% to 4% and its healing/shielding/regen bonus lowered from 15% to 12%. Protoplasm Harness cost rises to 2,600 gold and its early bonus health and healing are reduced. The Jack of All Trades rune now grants smaller adaptive stats at both five and ten stacks.

Riot framed the patch as maintenance-focused and wrote that the team will continue to monitor champion performance and the mage bot lane trend. Patch 26.14 is part of Riot’s regular cadence of updates that adjust champions, items and runes to keep competitive and casual play balanced.

Last month, League of Legends released Locke, an AP midlane assassin with high mobility and a kit built for quick kills and flashy plays.
