LoL skins on sale through July 20; Your Shop return unknown
Dozens of League of Legends skins are discounted in the client through Monday, July 20 at 10am PST. Riot Games has not announced when the in-game Your Shop will return.
Riot Games is running a multi-day sale of League of Legends skins in the in-client store that ends Monday, July 20 at 10am PST / 1pm EST / 6pm BST / 7pm CEST. The promotion includes a larger selection than usual to mark Hanwha Life Esports’ MSI victory.
The sale includes a mix of popular and niche cosmetics across price tiers, including Corsair Quinn, Sentinel Rengar, Star Guardian Orianna, Debonair Ezreal, High Noon Ashe, Cosmic Dusk Xayah and Battle Dove Seraphine among others. All items can be purchased directly in the client using RP while the promotion is live; exact prices and availability appear in the store listings.
Players can also use RP to unlock champions in the store. Skin shards, Hextech chests and Blue Essence remain available as alternative ways to obtain or craft skins and to expand a champion collection without direct RP purchases.
The previous Your Shop rotation ended on Tuesday, June 2. Riot has not published a date for the next Your Shop. Some players have pointed to upcoming in-game events and the recently discussed Classic mode as possible times for a relaunch, but Riot has not issued an official timetable.
League of Legends cosmetics are divided into multiple tiers with different acquisition methods and price levels. Transcendent skins are sold through the Hall of Legends store as high-value bundles, often priced between roughly $50 and $500 per bundle. Exalted and Mythic Variant items are distributed via the Sanctum and can be guaranteed with Ancient Sparks (some Exalted skins list a guarantee at 80 Sparks; some Mythic Variant guarantees are listed at 40 Sparks). Mythic skins are available through the Mythic store for 100 Mythic Essence, an earnable currency tied to events and season passes.
Ultimate skins have a standard retail price of 3,250 RP and represent full reimaginings of champions with unique mechanics and visuals. Mythic skins require 100 Mythic Essence and add enhanced animations. Prestige variants can be obtained from the Mythic store for 150 Mythic Essence or by completing paid battle pass tracks and include unique colorways and assets. Legendary skins are typically priced around 1,820 RP and Epic skins around 1,350 RP. Riot has effectively stopped regular new releases in the old Standard (975 RP) and Budget (750 RP) tiers; Epic is now the lowest price tier for newly purchasable skins.
There are exceptions and legacy cases. Some older Ultimate skins are priced lower than current Ultimate releases. Event-only items such as the PAX series are no longer available. Original launch and beta-era skins, including Black Alistar, Silver Kayle, Young Ryze and King Rammus, are unobtainable for current players. Hextech loot and skin shards continue to provide alternate routes to obtain cosmetics.
No separate public statement from Riot accompanied the current sale beyond the in-client listings and prices. The sale schedule and cosmetic tier mechanics remain in effect until July 20; players should check the in-game store for current prices and availability before purchasing.
