League of Legends skins on sale, tiers and next Your Shop

A selection of League of Legends skins is on sale through Monday, July 13 at 10 a.m. PT / 1 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. BST / 7 p.m. CEST. The discounted skins and their RP prices are Toy Terror Cho’Gath (1,012 RP), Dragonslayer Xin Zhao (607 RP), PsyOps Master Yi (540 RP), Soaring Sword Fiora (540 RP), Sandstorm Katarina (390 RP), Brave Phoenix Xayah (607 RP), Space Groove Samira (607 RP), PROJECT: Jinx (742 RP), Cafe Cuties Bard (607 RP), Space Groove Lissandra (675 RP), Darkflame Shyvana (585 RP), Faerie Court Seraphine (675 RP), Bloodstone Taric (390 RP), Dissonance of Pentakill Viego (742 RP) and AstroNautilus (607 RP). Players may also use RP to unlock champions in the store, though many use Blue Essence and skin shards to preserve RP for cosmetics.

Riot’s personalized Your Shop last ran until Tuesday, June 2. The developer has not announced a date for the next Your Shop rotation. Some community members expect a return around the launch of LoL Classic. Riot often uses event broadcasts for shop and feature announcements; viewers can watch the MSI finals on July 12 for any updates.

Riot divides skins into tiers based on price, availability and in-game features. Transcendent skins are offered through the Hall of Legends store and are sold in bundles that have ranged from about $50 to $500. These packages include Ultimate-level features and additional content. Exalted skins are obtained via the Sanctum using Ancient Sparks; a guaranteed Exalted skin requires 80 Ancient Sparks. Exalted items provide multiple forms and bespoke animations.

Mythic Variant skins are also acquired in the Sanctum and typically cost 40 Ancient Sparks for a guaranteed pick; they change existing skins with new voice lines, recalls, animations and model tweaks. Ultimate skins appear in the store and through loot; they usually cost 3,250 RP and represent full reimaginings of a champion with evolving features, for example DJ Sona and Elementalist Lux.

Mythic skins are available from the Mythic Store in exchange for Mythic Essence, an earnable currency. A common Mythic cost is 100 Mythic Essence. Prestige skins are purchasable through Mythic channels or by completing paid battle pass objectives and use Mythic Essence or equivalent battle pass pricing; Prestige variants provide a gold-and-white visual upgrade and unique borders.

Legendary skins, priced around 1,820 RP, replace animations, visuals, sounds and voice lines. Epic skins, now the lowest tier issued for direct purchase, cost about 1,350 RP and include new models, animations and some voice work. Standard and Budget skins remain in the store and in loot but Riot has largely stopped releasing new skins at those lower tiers, making Epic the entry-level purchasable tier for recent releases.

There are exceptions. Some older Ultimate skins sold at lower prices. Event-only releases and early beta or launch-era skins are no longer obtainable through regular channels. Players who track limited drops should monitor the Mythic Store rotation, the Sanctum, the Hall of Legends and the Your Shop, and follow Riot’s event calendar and seasonal passes to plan purchases and collect specific skins.

As reported earlier, Riot confirmed League of Legends Classic will restore earlier-era gameplay elements inside the current client.
