Looney Tunes: World of Mayhem to shut down Oct. 15, 2026
Scopely confirmed Looney Tunes: World of Mayhem will shut down Oct. 15, 2026; in-app purchases end Aug. 16 and the game will be removed from app stores on Aug. 23.
Scopely announced that Looney Tunes: World of Mayhem will close its servers on Oct. 15, 2026. In-app purchases will remain available until Aug. 16, and the game will be removed from app stores on Aug. 23. Existing players will be able to play and contact customer support until the servers go offline on Oct. 15, when the game will become unplayable.
The company described the shutdown as a “celebration of everything this community has built,” and said the process will be phased to allow players time to use in-game resources and participate in final events.
Under the timetable, in-app purchases and the game’s official social channels will be active through Aug. 16, 2026. After that date, premium purchases will be disabled and the social accounts will be taken offline. On Aug. 23 the title will be removed from app stores, blocking new downloads while current users retain access until the server shutdown in October.
Scopely will begin daily farewell giveaways on July 15, 2026. The gifts will include playable Toons, WB Charms and other in-game items. Weekly in-game events will continue during the wind-down, and players can claim free Toon Pieces for newly released Toons through the in-game store while the service remains active.
Looney Tunes: World of Mayhem launched in December 2018. The turn-based action RPG paired collectible characters from the Looney Tunes catalog, such as Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Marvin the Martian, Tweety, Taz, Road Runner and Wile E. Coyote, for team-based battles and timed events. The title will have operated for almost eight years when its servers close.
Scopely has not given a specific reason for the shutdown. Community responses noted sadness and nostalgia, and some players asked whether an offline or preserved version might be offered; the company has made no commitment on that option.
Customer support will be available to existing players until Oct. 15, 2026. After that date, Scopely will turn off the servers and the game will no longer be accessible.
