Lucid Eclipse starts China Android closed beta on Aug. 27

Yoka Games will hold a limited Android closed beta for Lucid Eclipse in China beginning Aug. 27, 2026. The test is limited to 2,000 participants and is a data-wipe trial, so progress will not carry over to later builds. Registration is open on the game’s official website through Aug. 20.

To apply, users must visit the official site, select the Reserve option and complete the questionnaire linked from that page. The form asks for contact details such as a phone number and WeChat ID. Selected testers will be contacted using the information provided, most likely via SMS or email.

Lucid Eclipse is a strategy role-playing game set in the fictional city of Tian Shu. Players take the role of an illustrator who investigates a series of unusual incidents, gathers clues and interacts with a cast of characters as the narrative unfolds.

The game draws on traditional cultural elements to create an urban-fantasy setting. Players may encounter Nuo masters and Nuo ritual elements as part of the story. The development team has highlighted the moon as a recurring motif in both theme and strategy. The title has been shown with anime-style visuals and atmospheric worldbuilding. The project is being developed by an independent team.

Yoka Games said the beta is intended to test systems and collect player feedback ahead of any wider release. The test is region-locked to China and confined to Android; the company has not provided details on future tests, other platforms or a release date. Players who wish to join must register on the official site before the Aug. 20 deadline.
