Marblebound pre-registration opens with competitive modes

Marblebound has opened pre-registration for iOS and Android; HoopTech revealed a Fairy Dungeon with daily challenges and a Rune system for character upgrades.

HoopTech Games has opened pre-registration for Marblebound on iOS and Android and published details of competitive modes and customization features that joined the game during its closed beta.

The Fairy Dungeon introduces daily challenges with leaderboard tracking so players can compete for high scores each day. The mode is presented as repeatable content with score-based placement on leaderboards.

A Rune system lets players assign and upgrade runes to change character stats and abilities. HoopTech identified Gold Silk as the in-game currency for empowering runes and said the item will be used in the game’s broader planned ecosystem.

Marblebound combines collectible RPG mechanics-character acquisition, progression and customization-with classic marble-shooter gameplay as its core loop. Combat and interactions center on shooting and matching marbles while players develop characters through runes and other progression systems.

Pre-registration rewards are available immediately on both mobile platforms. Players who sign up receive a ‘pioneer’ title, a profile frame and 50 Gold Silk. HoopTech has not announced an official release date.

HoopTech noted that many competitive features were refined during the closed beta and that other modes emphasize player-versus-player and score-driven challenges built around the marble-shooter format. The studio continues to iterate on features as it prepares Marblebound for full launch.
