Marvel Snap October Spotlight Cache: Zombies vs Vampires

Leaked files and images obtained by data miners indicate Marvel Snap’s October 2026 Spotlight Cache will use a Halloween “Zombies vs Vampires” theme and could appear in an early October update. The leak includes card names, costs and abilities but developers have not confirmed the list or release date.

The vampire side of the leak lists several new characters and mechanics. Vampire Enchantress is shown as a 6-cost, 7-power card with an On Reveal that steals one power from an enemy card for each different cost among your cards in play. Vampire Deacon Frost is presented as a 4-cost card that begins with 5 power and carries an objective: after three of your cards have stolen power, it transforms into an alter ego called Crimson Behemoth, which retains the same cost and has 9 power. Vampire America Chavez appears as a 3-cost, 4-power card with an On Reveal that steals one power from the top card of the opponent’s deck for each location you are winning. Vampire Killmonger is listed as a 2-cost, 2-power card with an End of Turn trigger that grants an item named Vampiric Spear if you spent all your energy that turn; the spear’s On Reveal is reported to steal two power from a character in the opponent’s hand.

The zombie cards focus on summoning and synergy with a Zombie Horde. Zombie Nova is shown as a 2-cost, 0-power card that summons a Zombie Horde on reveal and again on destruction, granting the Horde +3 power in each instance. Zombie Venom appears as a 3-cost, 3-power card whose On Reveal destroys your first other card at the same location; once one of your cards is destroyed, the Zombie Horde gains +2 power. Zombie Blade is reported as a 2-cost, 3-power card with an End of Turn effect that causes the Zombie Horde to steal one power from a character in the opponent’s hand if you played an On Reveal card that turn. Zombie Black Cat carries a discard synergy: when discarded it forces another card with a “When Discarded” effect to be discarded and then moves to the location with the fewest cards.

Leakers and data miners who shared the files cautioned that costs, power values and abilities may change during internal testing and some cards might be removed before launch. The leaked files indicate the new cards would be added to the in-game shop and could also appear on the Season Pass, but final distribution has not been confirmed by the developers. A person familiar with the leaks noted, “The files suggest an early October rollout, but the numbers and final card list are still subject to change.”
