Mini Escapes: The Below launches July 2 on iOS and Android

Glitch Games’ Mini Escapes: The Below debuts July 2 on iOS and Android for $2.99. The premium, ad-free game places players in an underground cell with point-and-click puzzles.

Glitch Games will release Mini Escapes: The Below on July 2 for iOS and Android. The game is priced at $2.99, contains no advertisements and has no in-app purchases. It will be available through standard mobile storefronts.

Players begin the game locked in a confined underground cell and must solve first-person point-and-click puzzles to escape. The environment contains interconnected puzzles and hidden clues. Players examine details, collect items and combine clues to open new areas.

The title includes a built-in camera tool for photographing clues during play. An autosave feature preserves progress between sessions so players can resume without replaying solved sections.

Visuals aim for a realistic, unsettling look intended to support the underground jail setting. The game does not rely on jump scares; art and lighting emphasize the environment and objects that relate to puzzles.

The experience is structured to be completed in a limited timeframe. Puzzles are linked so solving one can reveal information or tools useful elsewhere. The interface focuses on observation and trial-and-error rather than action-based mechanics.

Glitch Games is the developer behind earlier puzzle releases Forever Lost, A Fragile Mind and Veritas. The studio describes Mini Escapes: The Below as a single, self-contained release with the $2.99 purchase covering the full game and removing advertising and microtransactions.

An App Store listing shows the July 2 release date for iOS and indicates an Android launch on the same day. The game will be sold without additional downloadable content or in-app purchases.
