Mistfall Hunter open PC beta launches ahead of July 30

Bellring Games has launched an open PC beta for Mistfall Hunter, a souls-like action role-playing game. The beta provides early access to the title’s cooperative roguelite extraction gameplay and will be used to identify bugs and balance issues ahead of the full release on July 30, 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.

The beta focuses on core combat and multiplayer systems. Combat combines skill-based melee with readable enemy tells and a parry mechanic. Encounters require timing and positioning as players learn attack animations and telegraphed windows to attack, dodge or counter; larger foes demand more deliberate strategies.

Mistfall Hunter pairs those mechanics with cooperative elements and roguelite progression. Players extract resources between runs and face shifting challenges during missions. The studio plans to use player feedback from the beta to adjust matchmaking, balance and technical stability before launch.

Visually, the game uses a darker color palette across missions. Level layouts include vertical design and jungle-like areas with environmental hazards that players must learn to avoid in addition to enemy placements. Enemy attacks are presented with distinct animations so players can read tells and react.

The title received a gameplay deep dive last month that highlighted combat fluidity and mission design. The open PC beta remains available for players to test combat and multiplayer systems while Bellring Games collects feedback prior to the July 30 release.
