Mistfall Hunter has passed 500,000 players worldwide and reached 44,472 concurrent users on Steam in the past 24 hours, Bellring Games announced.
Bellring Games announced that Mistfall Hunter has surpassed 500,000 players worldwide and reached 44,472 concurrent users on Steam in the last 24 hours. The game launched last week.
The studio did not provide a breakdown of how many players accessed the title through Xbox Game Pass.
Players who log in before September 1 will receive 500 Soul Coins, an Ashen Cipher, an Abyssal Cipher and a Pip’s Rare Pouch Voucher. The voucher must be used within three days of redemption.
Bellring confirmed the game’s first major client update will arrive this week. The update will enable Einherjar Mode for the Mist Lord, a higher difficulty that increases the chance of obtaining Holy Weapons and Forging Materials. The Dried Flower Knot, required to challenge the Mist Lord in Einherjar Mode, will begin dropping once the update goes live.
The patch will also include optimizations, performance improvements and stability fixes. Full patch notes will be published when the update is released.
Bellring indicated it is evaluating additional fan-requested features for future updates, including a possible Solo Mode, and will continue addressing technical problems and balance concerns reported by the community.
Mistfall Hunter combines Souls-like combat with extraction mechanics: players enter maps to defeat powerful foes, collect loot and attempt to extract while facing other players and environmental hazards.
