Mobile games releasing on Android and iOS in August 2026 include Reigns: Beyond (Aug. 12), JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Spirit (Aug. 13), Gangstar Mirage City (Aug. 20), Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun Boom (Aug. 26) and Dave The Diver (Aug. 27).
More than 30 mobile games are scheduled for release on Android and iOS in August 2026. The month’s lineup includes several high-profile launches and a range of smaller independent titles across multiple genres.
Reigns: Beyond arrives on Aug. 12. The game adapts the Reigns swipe-decision mechanic to a new setting in which players manage an intergalactic indie rock band. Gameplay includes branching choices that affect crew members, resources and tour progression as players book shows, upgrade a ship and interact with alien characters.
JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Spirit is set for Aug. 13. The officially licensed RPG brings characters from multiple JoJo generations together and centers on team-based battles using Stand abilities and a RUSH system. The mobile release features 3D character models and Live2D scenes to recreate moments from the anime.
Gangstar Mirage City is due Aug. 20. Licensed by Gameloft and published by Level Infinite, the title returns to the open-world crime-action format. Players progress by completing missions, expanding criminal enterprises, customizing vehicles and weapons, and participating in multiplayer modes such as cooperative heists and player-versus-player encounters.
Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun Boom launches on Aug. 26 as a first-person shooter for mobile. Players control a Space Marine and face waves of Chaos enemies across large combat areas. The release includes a single-player campaign, mobile-optimized controls and no energy timers.
Dave The Diver appears on Aug. 27. The mobile build brings the game’s underwater exploration and restaurant-management loop to phones, with dives to collect ingredients and a night shift that focuses on running and upgrading a sushi restaurant. The version has been adjusted for smaller screens.
Additional releases across August include Potion Craft (Aug. 17), Twilight Towers: Merge Defense (Aug. 12), Pixel Gun 2 and Tiny Room Stories: Eclipse (both Aug. 26), plus a variety of puzzle, RPG and idle titles. Most games list availability on both Google Play and the App Store; a few are App Store-only or will roll out regionally.
Publishers and developers have staggered release dates and regional windows. Players should check their platform’s store for local release times, regional availability and download options.
