Mobile Legends Returns to 2026 Asian Games on Oct. 1
Mobile Legends returns as a medal event at the 2026 Asian Games on Oct. 1, with 12 national teams competing in a group stage and single-elimination playoffs for medals.
Mobile Legends: Bang Bang will be contested at the 2026 Asian Games beginning Oct. 1, with 12 national teams competing for gold, silver and bronze medals. Matches will be held in person at Games venues and will be livestreamed; broadcast partners have not been announced.
The tournament format features a group stage followed by single-elimination playoffs. The 12 teams are drawn into four groups of three. Teams play a single round-robin within their group and the top two finishers in each group advance to an eight-team knockout bracket. The playoffs use a single-elimination format to determine the medalists.
Confirmed national teams include the Philippines, Cambodia, Indonesia, Myanmar, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Mongolia, Hong Kong and Iran. Teams will represent their countries rather than club or franchise sides. Organizers have not released monetary prize details.
This will be Mobile Legends’ second appearance on the Asian Games program. Organizers say they will publish match schedules, seeding, venue assignments, final rosters and broadcast details in the months leading up to the Games.
