Modder runs GTA III and Vice City inside San Andreas

A modder has loaded Grand Theft Auto III and Vice City simultaneously inside the PC version of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, showing multiple cities active in one session.
An independent modder recently ran Grand Theft Auto III and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City at the same time inside the PC build of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. The creator published video and screenshots that show elements from all three games appearing during a single San Andreas session.
The posted footage shows Liberty City and Vice City environments active while the San Andreas game engine runs. Landmarks from the earlier titles appear alongside San Andreas locations, and interface elements and textures from those games are visible in the build.
The demonstration uses PC modding tools and custom scripts to import assets and map data from the older titles into the San Andreas executable. The clip indicates the mod stitches together map files and assets so a player can move through multiple city areas without quitting to a different game.
The project required extracting or recreating models, textures and scripts, then integrating them into San Andreas’ runtime using community mod loaders and code injections common in PC modding. The creator included technical notes on compatibility and listed required third-party tools and community libraries in the post.
Grand Theft Auto III (2001), Vice City (2002) and San Andreas (2004) were developed on versions of the RenderWare engine, which has allowed modders to move maps and content between the games in past projects. The current work builds on those prior ports, graphical overhauls and multiplayer frameworks created by fans.
The modder described the project as a proof of concept rather than a finished release. Details on distribution and installation were limited in the initial post. Although the experiment focuses on the classic trilogy, players interested in the series’ modern online experience can explore GTA V accounts with different levels of in-game progression. Rockstar Games and parent company Take-Two Interactive have not commented on the project.
