Modern Warfare 4 teaser confirms Valeria’s return

A new Modern Warfare 4 campaign teaser confirms Valeria’s return, showing her with Captain Price in a Paris mission called “Traffic” featuring vehicle combat and APCs.

Infinity Ward released a short campaign teaser for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 that confirms Valeria returns and places her alongside Captain Price in a Paris mission named “Traffic.” The footage highlights vehicle-based combat in urban streets.

The clip shows gunfights from moving cars and sequences where players take control of an armored personnel carrier (APC). The mission includes high-speed chases, explosions and pursuit scenes built around vehicular engagement.

Characters are shown firing from cars during chases and using an APC to move through hostile positions. At one point Valeria mentions an “archer,” a term developers have not explained or tied to specific campaign objectives.

Valeria remarks to Price, “They may not be the police, but they’re human just like us,” during an encounter with another armed faction in the city.

Modern Warfare 4 is scheduled for release on October 23, 2026, for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, PC and Nintendo Switch 2. Players who pre-order will receive seven days of early access to the campaign before the wider launch.

Multiplayer will include a new mode called Kill Block, which combines modular map sections to create more than 500 possible map layouts.

Valeria first reappeared in 2022’s Modern Warfare 2 as El Sin Nombre. The new teaser confirms she remains part of the franchise’s narrative, though Infinity Ward has not detailed how the “Traffic” mission or her role links to the campaign’s broader plot about the hunt for Makarov.

The teaser provides a brief look at the mission and does not reveal further story details ahead of the game’s full release.
