My Talking Angela 2 adds Nail Salon, expands styling tools

Outfit7 added a Nail Salon to My Talking Angela 2, joining fashion, hair and jewelry editors after players used Angela as a creative outlet.
Outfit7’s Ekipa2 d.o.o team has added a Nail Salon feature to My Talking Angela 2, expanding the game’s existing Fashion Editor, Hair Salon and Jewelry tools. The update follows observation that many players were spending more time styling Talking Angela than performing traditional caretaking tasks.
Product manager Silina Senica Pintar said the development team tracked player behavior after the Fashion Editor launched and found users combining hair, makeup, clothing and effects to create coherent looks and characters. The Nail Salon was introduced in response to player feedback requesting manicures as a finishing detail to those outfits.
The Nail Salon opens each session by asking players to choose a theme. That selection limits the palette of colors, textures, stickers and gems available during the session, offering a curated set of options rather than an open-ended catalog. The tool uses painting and drag-and-drop controls similar to other editors in the game to keep the interaction familiar while giving players a focused creative flow.
Design work centered on visual clarity and ease of use. The team ran multiple concept tests to make Angela’s hands-intentionally soft and cartoony-work as an editing surface. Developers applied lessons from earlier projects, including hair physics work from the Hair Salon, to reduce technical hurdles during Nail Salon production. The team recorded a real manicure session to guide animation and the sequence of steps in the feature.
Outfit7 framed the Nail Salon as part of a connected styling system that lets players match nails to hair, makeup, clothing and accessories. The company reported that some players treat Angela as a character to dress up, others as a friend, and others as an alter ego to explore different looks.
The developer indicated it plans additional features beyond nails, hair and fashion, citing continued player interest in creative tools. The Nail Salon update was released as part of ongoing updates to My Talking Angela 2 and is available to players through the game’s current version.
As reported previously, FDG Entertainment released Monster Boy on iOS via the App Store.
