NBA 2K27 and EA Sports FC 27 top editions cost $149.99

Two annual sports franchises have set their most expensive digital editions at $149.99 ahead of the autumn release window. NBA 2K27’s Ultra Edition will arrive on September 4, 2026, and EA Sports FC 27’s Ultimate Plus Edition will arrive on September 25, 2026. Grand Theft Auto VI is due November 19, 2026, with a Standard edition at $79.99 and an Ultimate edition at $99.99.

Take-Two Interactive owns both Rockstar Games and 2K. That company will therefore publish NBA 2K27 and GTA 6 in the same financial year with different list prices for their premium editions. Electronic Arts is the publisher for EA Sports FC 27.

NBA 2K27 will list a Standard edition at $69.99, a Deluxe tier at $99.99 and an Ultra tier at $149.99. EA Sports FC 27 will list a Standard edition at $69.99, an Ultimate tier at $99.99 and an Ultimate Plus tier at $149.99. GTA 6’s Standard price is $79.99 and the Ultimate edition is $99.99.

The top-tier editions include different in-game items and services. NBA 2K27’s Ultra Edition includes 135,000 Virtual Currency, seven days of early access, progression boosts, card packs, four Pro Passes that span two years, and content dated for December 2026 and May 2027.

EA Sports FC 27’s Ultimate Plus Edition includes 10,000 FC Points delivered in five monthly drops, early access up to seven days, Premium Passes for Seasons 1 through 5, and point redemption windows that can result in forfeited points if deadlines are missed.

GTA 6’s Ultimate Edition adds in-game items such as exclusive shops, vehicles and hideout perks, plus progression perks that unlock as players advance. Those items and perks are available at launch rather than delivered across seasonal windows.

Both NBA 2K27’s Ultra Edition and EA Sports FC 27’s Ultimate Plus Edition are digital-only and offered for a limited time. 2K has said the NBA 2K27 Ultra Edition is available until September 6, 2026, and EA has said the FC 27 Ultimate Plus Edition is available until August 31, 2026.

NBA 2K27 and EA Sports FC 27 use in-game currencies and seasonal passes that can accelerate player progression or unlock items. EA’s FC Points are distributed over several months and are subject to expiration if not redeemed within prescribed windows.

Publishers have posted release dates, edition contents and regional pricing ahead of launch. Buyers can compare which extras are delivered immediately at launch, which are released later, and any time-limited redemption conditions before making a purchase.
