NBA 2K27 pre-orders open with Wembanyama, Clark, Rose

2K has opened pre-orders for NBA 2K27, naming Victor Wembanyama as the Standard cover athlete, Caitlin Clark on the Deluxe cover and Derrick Rose on the Ultra Edition. Deluxe pre-orders made before August 17 at 10:00 AM PT carry early bonuses redeemable in both NBA 2K26 and NBA 2K27.

The publisher confirmed that the game will continue to offer core franchise modes MyCAREER, MyTEAM and MyNBA. Pre-orders are available through 2K and standard retail and digital channels; the announcement did not list platform-specific availability.

Deluxe pre-orders include the following bonus content. For NBA 2K26 buyers receive 15,000 VC, a Racecar Helmet outfit and a G.O.A.T. Stephen Curry MyTEAM card. For NBA 2K27 buyers receive 10,000 VC, a Hyperdrive Suit and a 90 overall Victor Wembanyama MyTEAM card. The NBA 2K26 items require ownership of the base NBA 2K26 game to redeem.

All listed bonuses require an active internet connection and an NBA 2K Account. No other timed or platform-exclusive content was identified in the pre-order announcement.

The cover athletes reflect current and past NBA profiles. Victor Wembanyama is a young French big man who has been a standout since his entry to the league. Caitlin Clark enters the game following a rookie of the year season and WNBA All-Star appearances. Derrick Rose is a former NBA MVP and remains a prominent figure in the sport.

2K did not publish a full list of new gameplay features, a final release date or pricing for each edition in the pre-order announcement. Buyers who want the early bonuses should ensure they have an NBA 2K Account and, where applicable, the existing NBA 2K26 game installed to redeem the older-title rewards.
