NC, Dynamis team up for mobile magical-girl RPG
NC and Dynamis will release Astrae Oratio, a cel-shaded magical-girl RPG set in modern Tokyo, on mobile; a new trailer shows characters, transformations and team-based combat.
NC and Dynamis are collaborating to bring Astrae Oratio, a magical-girl role-playing game set in modern-day Tokyo, to mobile devices. A recently released trailer highlights playable characters, transformation sequences, special attacks and team-based combat.
The trailer presents short gameplay clips showing character transformations, combo attacks and coordinated team moves. Visuals use cel-shading and stylized effects designed to resemble anime presentation.
Footage hints at a setting where magic exists alongside everyday city life and is regulated by a bureaucratic system. The trailer emphasizes combat and visual design and includes only brief story beats; developers have not released full plot details or information on progression systems.
NC will handle the mobile launch. The company is listed in some materials as previously known as NCSoft. Dynamis is the development partner. Neither company has provided a firm release date, and no platforms beyond mobile have been confirmed.
Astrae Oratio has been revealed gradually through trailers and promotional material rather than a single announcement. Promotional materials note similarities in art direction with NC’s other upcoming title, Limit Zero Breakers, but the two projects have not been formally linked beyond shared visual style.
Developers’ official channels are the primary source for future updates on beta tests, soft launches or a full release window.
