Netflix Minigolf launches 60+ courses inspired by its shows
Netflix launched Netflix Minigolf, an exclusive multiplayer minigolf game for up to three players with more than 60 courses based on Stranger Things, Squid Game and Bridgerton.
Netflix Games released Netflix Minigolf, an exclusive title available now to subscribers on the Netflix platform. The multiplayer minigolf game supports up to three players and includes more than 60 themed courses based on Netflix original series such as Stranger Things, Squid Game and Bridgerton.
Gameplay blends traditional putting with arcade elements influenced by pinball and kart-racing. Players choose an avatar, connect a controller or use on-screen controls, hold a button or the screen to aim, set shot power and release to swing. Matches can be played locally with friends.
Several courses include speed boosts and on-screen aiming aids to help with longer or more complex holes. Scoring follows standard stroke rules but adds bonus points for feats such as hole-in-ones. Players can use environmental features and interact with opponents to affect outcomes through hazards and interactive set pieces tied to the source material.
Course effects include cyclones that move rival balls and mechanics that let players collide with opponents’ balls to gain extra points. The launch roster features recognizable characters and figures from the shows, including Eleven and the Demogorgon from Stranger Things, Young Hee from Squid Game, and Queen Charlotte and The VIP from Bridgerton.
Future updates will add KPop Demon Hunters-themed courses and additional avatars. Netflix Minigolf joins other recent releases from Netflix Games, including a horror survival title called Unhinged, as the company expands its library from single-player mobile games to multiplayer experiences built around its intellectual property.
