Neverness to Everness 1.2 Adds Shinku, Iroi and 999 Nights
Version 1.2, titled “999 Nights,” launches July 8, 2026, adding S‑rank characters Shinku and Iroi, a 999 Nights Tabletop RPG mode, new events, the Draco vehicle and quality‑of‑life updates.
Perfect World Games will release Neverness to Everness Version 1.2, titled “999 Nights,” on July 8, 2026. The update adds two S‑rank playable characters, a new tabletop RPG mode, a rideable vehicle, several timed events and multiple quality‑of‑life changes.
Shinku is an S‑rank Chaos Condensate main DPS whose kit centers on a Defiant Spirit gauge. Successful dodges trigger follow‑up attacks and reduce enemy Break gauge. Certain form changes modify effects; for example, Menacing Gaze can knock enemies to the ground. Shinku’s Ultimate consumes accumulated Defiant Spirit to enter Surging Crimson State, during which she delivers multiple Cosmos‑type strikes, moves faster and ends with a high‑damage finishing attack called Crimson Judgment. Repeated activations of the Ultimate increase her target speed and finish with a wide area Cosmos attack.
Iroi is an S‑rank Anima Liquid support focused on resource management and team protection. Her core mechanic is an Imagination meter that she builds and spends. Holding Iroi’s redirect skill places up to three allies into a Regression state that makes them invincible and replaces them in battle with Iroi’s lambs, which carry portions of her offensive stats. Teammates who fall while Iroi is in the party enter Regression as well. Her Ultimate has two effects depending on Imagination: if the meter is below the threshold, Dream of the Horned Gate heals the party; if the meter meets the threshold, Dream of the Ivory Gate applies damage over time to enemies and allows players to swipe to a Regression character to resurrect them and restore part of their HP. The Dream consumes Imagination and ends when the resource is depleted.
The 999 Nights Tabletop RPG mode takes place on the Warren Continent and offers distinct locations, stories, gear and rare items. The mode is designed for replayability, with different outcomes on repeat runs. Perfect World Games plans to add new maps, equipment and narrative content to the tabletop system in future updates. New story chapters labeled Resolve Special and Oreamgate Special Arc will appear in the Arc shop after the patch.
Timed events arriving with Version 1.2 include an auction event for collectibles, a hide‑and‑seek match across Clement Academy, a Fishing Frenzy minigame, a temporary double‑stamina window and a summer gift pack that grants an S‑class standard character selection box to players who have activated the in‑game mail feature. The update adds the Draco bike, a vehicle capable of aerial jumps; owning Shinku’s Dragon Night outfit unlocks a neon visual effect for the bike.
Quality‑of‑life changes let players keep fish from Fishing Frenzy in a purchased fish tank on their property; fish require daily feeding or they will die. Housing decoration gains a blueprint save function that lets players preserve and share layouts via the Bagel platform. The update includes three time‑limited livestream redemption codes-SHINKU0708, 999NIGHTS and IROI0729-that grant in‑game items such as Annulith currency, character guides, dyes and Beetle Coin in varying amounts.
Version 1.2 will roll out globally on July 8, 2026, and the new characters and tabletop mode will be integrated into the game’s event calendar and future content rotations.
