NIKKE summer update adds SSR Ark Ranger Black

Goddess of Victory: NIKKE’s summer update introduces SSR Ark Ranger Black through a Special Recruit banner, returns several summer Nikkes via a Limited Select Recruit, and launches a fully voiced ARK RANGER story event. The Special Recruit for Ark Ranger Black runs from June 11 to July 2, 2026. The update also adds new costumes, an archive entry and a 14-day login campaign.

Ark Ranger Black is an SSR Attacker who focuses on sustained damage. Her abilities steadily increase her offense during combat and her Burst Skill triggers a transformation that further boosts damage output. She uses the assault rifle ‘Crying Black’, carries the Wind code and is listed under Tetra Line. Players can attempt to recruit her through the Special Recruit banner during the June 11–July 2 window.

The update brings back summer characters through a Limited Select Recruit. The rerun pool includes Anis: Sparkling Summer, Helm: Aquamarine, Mary: Bay Goddess, Neon: Blue Ocean, Sakura: Bloom in Summer and Rosanna: Chic Ocean. The selection window aligns with the Ark Ranger Black banner period.

Costume content includes new and returning outfits. Moran – King of Flowers headlines the Costume Gacha and features full voiceover, a Burst Skill cutscene and special animations. E.H. – Junkyard Vanguard will be obtainable through the JUNKYARD PASS, and Naga – Ring Ensemble is scheduled for the July Mission Pass. Returning costumes Sugar – Wild Backyard and Leona – Zoo Keeper will be available in the Cash Shop for a limited time.

The ARK RANGER story event is fully voiced and follows Ark Ranger Black as she acts outside her television persona to protect civilians. The event features a large exploration map, collectible Lost Relics with an exchange shop, a two-part story with STORY I available at launch and STORY II unlocking later, a dedicated Challenge Stage and a special story animation.

New gameplay additions include the mini-game FIGHT! ARK RANGER!, a vertical defense-style mode where players arrange weapons to fend off waves of Raptures. The update adds the archive entry BOOM! THE GHOST! and a 14-day login event titled ARK RANGER THE MOVIE: COMING SOON, which awards Advanced Recruit Vouchers and development materials over the event period.

The Special Recruit banner, Limited Select Recruit window, costume releases and event phases are scheduled to run across the summer season as announced with the update.
