Orange Pop! mobile puzzle launches with Kenan and Kel

Staple Games has launched Orange Pop! on Android and iOS, a mobile match-3 puzzle that features original voice reactions and banter from Kenan Thompson and Kel Mitchell. The game is available for download on Google Play and Apple’s App Store.

Gameplay follows standard match-3 mechanics: players swap colored pieces to create matches, build streaks, trigger fizzy power-ups and combine moves to clear handcrafted puzzle levels. Staple Games says levels are hand-designed rather than procedurally generated and that boosters and other in-game tools are included to assist on more difficult boards.

Orange Pop! includes newly recorded voice clips from Thompson and Mitchell that play during levels and provide light commentary. Players can earn and unlock cosmetics that change the appearance of the two characters inside the game. The developer describes the pairing of recorded voice moments with handcrafted levels as an element meant to add nostalgic tone.

Staple Games, the studio behind the puzzle title Sagadoku, built Orange Pop! with short, self-contained levels intended for brief play sessions on smartphones. The studio lists character customization and recorded audio as distinguishing features of the release.

Orange Pop! is available now on both major mobile app stores.
